Woodley, whilst a town in its own right, and situated in the borough of Wokingham, is often thought of as a suburb of Reading, lying 4 miles east of the town centre, and two miles east of Earley. Nested amidst the picturesque villages of the likes of Sonning and Twyford. Woodley enjoys a prime location within the Royal County of Berkshire, with excellent road links via the M4 and A329m, as well as nearby Winnersh Triangle and Earley Rail Stations. The toponym “Woodley” itself signifies “a clearing in the wood” reflecting the towns historical roots.
